28th February 2018

On 23rd February 2018, consenso Consulting GmbH has been awarded the TOP JOB seal for outstanding employer qualities by Federal Minister ret. Wolfgang Clement. The seal awarded by zeag GmbH, “Zentrum für Arbeitgeberattraktivität” (centre for employer attractiveness) is assigned to employers that consequently stand up for a healthy and at the same time powerful workplace culture.

consenso Consulting GmbH is a leading consulting company focusing on SAP in Germany and Europe that currently employs 150 employees. It offers its customers strategy, process consulting and process optimisation as well as their technical implementation from one source. The focus is on trade/retail, but the company can also look back on numerous successful projects in the areas automotive, manufacturing as well as chemicals and pharma.

For the second time after 2015, the company from Bielefeld has been awarded the Top Job seal as one of the best employers in German medium-sized businesses, above all, owed by its good results in a scientifically substantiated employee survey by the “Institut für Führung und Personalmanagement” (institute for leadership and personnel management) of the University of St. Gallen, under the direction of Prof. Dr. Heike Bruch. According to this survey, the employees are especially satisfied with the management of the company.

“Above all, we treat our employees as human beings. They reward us with their attachment, loyalty and commitment”, Managing Director Andreas Lorch says. As evidence of this, he refers to a very low fluctuation. The employees also highlighted the creative freedom and the possibility to work independently as particularly positive. This is based on a comprehensive training program, continuously ensuring professional and personal further development.

“Our employees acknowledge our efforts to be an attractive employer”, so Andreas Loch. “We are very pleased that they honour our efforts by their loyalty for our company. Of course, we will strive to extend our employer qualities with the help of the Top Job analysis, as we know that our employees’ motivation is the crucial factor for our company’s success.”

120 medium-sized businesses have competed for the current “Top Job” round. 85 companies are allowed to carry the seal for the next two years. All in all, 19,841 employees have been interviewed, 57 percent of them work in family businesses. 25 national and 6 international market leaders are to be found among the top employers. The companies employ an average of 414 employees, and the percentage of women in executive positions is on average 28%.
